Our Story: The Heart Behind IM Vending
Every great business starts with a moment of frustration—and a belief that things can be better. For us, those moments happened over years of dealing with the same old problems: outdated vending machines that swallow your change, a total lack of customer service, and empty rows where fresh, unique options should be.
But the real spark for IM Vending came from our own lived experiences during some of life's most demanding moments.
We vividly remember the long, stressful nights in the emergency room, desperately wishing a vending machine offered something as simple—yet essential—as a phone charger. We remember the exhaustion of a grueling shift, only to realize we had to make yet another stop at a convenience store just to buy over-the-counter medicine.
"I remember wasting precious lunch minutes driving off-campus just to buy something fresh to eat. By the time I got back, I only had time to take a single bite before shoving the rest into the breakroom refrigerator and rushing back to work. In those moments, I kept thinking: Why isn't there a convenient, fresh, and healthy option right here?
After years of asking "why," we decided to find the answer ourselves. We wanted to find a meaningful way to give back and truly serve our community. That is where IM Vending was born.
The Name
What "IM" Means to Us
The name is deeply personal. "I" stands for Isaac, and "M" stands for Maryange. Together, as a married couple and business partners, IM represents our shared commitment to you.
